Trapped in an Elevator...With Diarrhea

This is exactly why it is illegal in the United States to install an elevator within 2 square miles of a Benihana. Poor guy! What a pity!

Happy Belated Anniversary Sis!

I was a little disappointed when I checked my diary this morning and saw a reminder note of my sister special day three weeks ago. I made the note when my sister mentioned about her plan to celebrate their big day a couple of months ago. For whatever reason I missed that note and just saw it today. Hey sis, I know you are reading this…hihi. What else can I say other than I am sorry. It was three weeks ago but it is never too late to make a wish, right?

For a special Sister and Brother in-law,

Sorry for the belated wishes for your wedding anniversary,

but it’s never too late to wish you loads of happiness and luck!

Paula & Micheal

Happy 20th Wedding Anniversary!

Hope you guys had a great one.

Wicked Allergy(Again?)

It’s Tuesday! We have a beautiful chilly morning today. After one week in shorts to school, today Billy is wearing jacket again. :-(

I am so happy he slept very well last night after many-many sleepless nights lately. He woke up mostly at about 2.00am crying and scratching his eyes and only went back to bed after we gave him some med. Last night we gave him allergy med before he went to bed and look like it worked well. At least he can get a good sleep through the night. We may have to do it every night until summer, unfortunately.

As for me, seem like I got pretty bad allergy this spring. Last year one med in the morning will do for the entire day. But this year, I have to take allergy med twice a day. I put eye drops three or four times a day and still have red and fluffy eyes when I woke up in the morning. This morning dear hubby made a suggestion that I would never want to think of. At least not for now. He suggested that I see a doctor and get a stronger prescription med or even get a shot for allergy. NO!!! That would be my very last option. Glad that I have an appointment with optometrist to get new prescription glasses this Friday. So I would get eyes check in just a couple of days...yeah! At least I would know if by any chance I got eyes' infection. Sorry guys, look like I was just complaining about my allergy this entire week….hihi!

Anyway, I am sure you guys have heard or read about the sad, horror story about the guy(disgusting monster I would call him) in Austria, who kept his daughter and children he fathered in the cellar for 24 years. It’s a very disturbing story. I could never imagine the life she and her children went through for 24 years in that cellar. No punishment for the old monster could bring back the life he took from her daughter and her children. Hopes he will live longer to see the devastated he has done to his own family and grandchildren. Nature will take care of the rest.
Sad.

Looking Forward For Summer

We still have two more months before it is officially summer time. Sound like I am so looking forward to the summer time to come, huh! Not really, I am not very excited about summer time, as it is just a little too warm for me. The truth is I was used to the hot and humid weather but not the hot and dry air in the summer….hihi. It is just crazy hot in the summer.

I just want spring season to be over soon. So tired of sneezing all day long and of course runny nose and watery eyes in its package. Whatever is it in the air here in TN, it is not compatible with Billy and me. I have not had this problem while we were living in Missouri. Trees and plants in these two states are pretty much the same but why is it I gets hay allergy here but not at MO are still a mystery for me.

So unfortunate for poor Billy as he also has the pollen allergy. Thank God it is just seasonal because having cold-like symptoms for about three months is not fun at all. Glad it isn’t caused by a virus but by an allergic response to specific substances in the environment you are in. I am hoping that dear hubby would get a job somewhere else like MO where Billy and I won’t have to suffer from hay fever anymore. It is something we are not looking forward to every year. But for now, we gonna have to wait with patient until this spring season is over.

'True Love' Tag

It’s Tuesday again. We have wonderful weather today. I just finished doing my house chores and Billy would not be home from school until 11.45am. So it is being my quiet time now, time to update my blog. Last night while cleaning my puter, I saw my ‘Tags File’ is pretty ‘full' already. I am gonna have to emptying it up soon...hihi!.

First one is ‘True Love’ tag from Aa- Eman. Hmmm, talking about true love, honestly I do not think too much about it now until I got this tag. (LOL) Of course I thought and talked about it with my BFF and ex-colleague a lot while I was still singled. You know those days when you have to decide if he were the right one for you and all that stuff…haha! What an exciting topic specially when you talk about it with your married friends. (LOL!) I am sure many of you had such experiences. Okay, I better go right to the tag...…hihi!

The Rules:
Copy the questions and answer them honestly!

1. What does true love mean to you?

* Highly respect to each other, accept you for who you are & always be there for each other.

2. How do you know you're really in love?

* When just thought of him make my face glow.

3. How many times in your life have you fallen in love? Plenty

* Fallen in love as in truly absolutely in love? Twice

4. Have you ever fallen out of true love because you were mad at the moment?

* Nope.

5. Do you feel love and physical attraction is the same thing?

* Nope, physical attraction is just a plus.

6. If your true love became ill or disfigured, would you continue to love them the same way?

* Yes. I would always be there for him.

7. Should anyone else be able to tell you who to love or not love?

* No Way.

8. Do you believe people that ended up divorced were ever truly in love?

* Yes.

9. Would you give up something you want for someone you love?

* Absolutely.

10. If you truly love someone, do you feel it should be unconditional?

* This is a hard one. Yes and No, depend on the circumstances. I would say NO when it involving my faith and self-principles.

Now I am would like to know the perspective of True Love from,

Rose
Luthie
Jen
Dina.

Have a wonderful week!

Billy's Class Field Trip To The Zoo.

Yesterday we took Billy to the zoo in Clinton, another town about 40 minutes away from O.R. It was a small zoo called The Ponderosa Zoo. They have many animals from goats, kangaroos, Zebras, camels, turtles and many more. I think it was not that bad for $6 admission fee.

Actually, it was one of Billy’s school programs and parents and siblings were invited too. I am so happy that dear hubby was eventually able to get the morning off and drive us there. It was after many days of seeing my bleak face since he said could not make it and probably should just let Billy miss the zoo visit or ride on the school bus. I have no problem with him riding on his bus as usual because I fully trust the teachers. What made me feel so sad was when I think of him in the zoo alone, without his parents, so sad. I have no doubts his teachers are there for him but still not the same if we are there. And I definitely don’t want him to miss the fun his peers would get at the zoo.

There are about 12 parents showed up with 3 guys including dear hubby. It was really fun. Nice to see the grins on the kids faces while riding a pony. Billy has his pony riding time too with dada held his hand tight while it moving. He seems to enjoy the short round and round pony ride….hihi! Other than the pony ride, the kids were also allowed to feed the animals. But most of them including Billy have chosen to feed the ducks. :D

We spent about 2 hours in the zoo and left early because dear hubby still has to attend his division meeting. After dropped us by at the house, he went to his meeting and before 4.00pm rushed home for a meeting with Billy’s teachers. Yeah, what a hectic day it was. But overall it was fun and productive day.

The video was taken while on our trip to SF recently. It's pretty cold and windy but Billy still having fun running around on the beach. Enjoy!

Sorry For MIA

Sorry I have been missing so much lately. After came back from the trip, I had to work on a little project and it took me several days to get it done. Ahem…What project was it, nothing big so I will just keep it in my closet….hehe.

Last Monday dear hubby went to New Orleans on a business trip and only returned home last night. Since he brought my laptop with, I had to use his computer. I had all the pics I wanted in flash drive for my posting and guess what? For some reason, I have problems to open IE and it goes on for two days. The only program I could open was Skype and YM. Gheeesh, that's really annoyed. I cannot even check my email.

Hah! Good thing dear hubby only went for three days trip otherwise, I would make his computer commit suicide. He said could make it work through his lab ‘lock in’ but he had the key his briefcase and it was with him.

So happy I got my laptop back and dear hubby got his computer working again. He did just that, lock in to his lab's puter and got it work from there. We need new computer!

BTW, any of you watch American Idol? This week, Jason Castro, the charming guy, sang 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow' and he did a great job. It's my all time favorite song. Suprisingly, Kathy Lee Cook is getting better every week. Who will leave the show tonight? Maybe nobody will leave this week as its Idol Give Back Week. We will see.

We Are Back!

We are back in the Oak Ridge. So happy everything is back to normal again. Now I got my laptop back all for myself so more time to update my blog…..hihi! Thank you for all the comments and kindly wishes you left in my blog while I was away.

Our trip was okay. Billy was not at his best the whole week because of his teething. But he is getting better, good rest and school help a lot. San Francisco was not as what I was expected, unfortunately. It’s really surprising to see a large number of beggars in S.F downtown. Other than that, S.F is a really interesting city. I love the cable car, really cool.

We stayed at the Marriott Hotel in downtown San Francisco on the whole trip. I like the room, pretty big room with a nice view of the downtown. The room had a mini bar and a refreshment center. As expected the price was like 4 times the regular price in the store and once you move the snacks the machine will automatically bill the price to your account. Cool, huh! To add to the crazy price is additional 20% for the restocking fee. Restocking fee? Ain’t that pathetic?

The refreshment center.

The Mini Bar.

For a couple of times while relaxing after a long day, I was tempted to just close my eyes and grab the M&m from the tray....haha! Hey, for 7 days pretending not to see that yummy stuff in front of your eyes was insane. But eventually until day seven of our stays, the tray was still full except for the one empty spot.….hehe!

On the first day in S.F we were able to browse around in Chinatown. I thought the Chinatown in S.F is the largest in the USA. I might be wrong.

The Gate To Chinatown.
